The Bridgewater Debbie Cooper mentions below is the highrise closest to the beach. The rooms are small (long and narrow) but nice. These are in a block for VSLVA folks. If you look at the photo album at vslva.org on the front page, I have labeled the photos so you can see what the rooms and view look like. The Lakside are larger more house-like condos.

We will be sending along details later about a proposed schedule of events, links to area activities, etc. It is going to be a great place for the reunion!

Dear David:

It was nice to speak with you this morning!

Here is the information you have requested – Please have your guest call our reservations department at 1-800-845-1897. They should refer to the Variety Shade Group. At this time we do have the Bridgewater unit in block as well as a couple of Lakeside units.

The Bridgewater units will be $189.00 per night plus 15% tax and resort service fees and the two bedroom Lakeside units will be $184.00 per night plus 15% tax and resort service fee.

At this time we do have the charges for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights going to the master account. Guest who will be staying longer will pay their own charges at the time of making the reservations.

Please have your guest call to make their reservations prior to April 25, 2009 as that is the date that I will release the rooms from the block. They can continue to book after that time as long as we have availability but can not guarantee that they will be in the Bridgewater Building .

As time gets closer you will need to speak with Rebecca in our catering department for set up for the meeting as well as any meal function you decide to have.
